Hi, my name is Taylor Chance, and I proudly serve as President of the Biggest and Baddest Black Student Union. I'm from Brooklyn, NY—the best borough! I joined BSU my freshman year to find a family and a home on this PWI campus. After four years of learning, growing, and building within this organization, I chose to lead as president to give back to the community that shaped me. My favorite part has been building a family with my incredible 56th e-board and creating a safe space for them.

Hello, I'm Yvedrenne Pierre from Brooklyn, NY, and I currently serve as the Vice President of the Black Student Union (BSU). I joined BSU because of its outstanding work in uniting and giving back to the campus community. What I enjoy most about being Vice President is the opportunity to showcase my creativity and bring the community together through a month-long series of events during Black History Month. I know it will be incredibly rewarding to see my visions come to life.

Hello, my name is Chidi Okoro and I’m from the Bronx NY. I’m the current fundraising chair for BSU. I joined BSU because they were the first community on campus that welcomed me so openly and the sense of community that I felt while being with them especially through participation in their fashion show. So I wanted give back to the org that introduced me to Bing. My favorite part about being on eboard is having the ability to able to connect with the community and have fun.

Hello, I’m Jamirah Hamilton from Queens, NY, and I proudly serve as the 56th e-board’s Educational Coordinator. My e-board members constantly uplift, and motivate me, making this journey unforgettable. My favorite aspect of BSU is the sense of community we build through programs like CAP and YP which teach me the true meaning of reciprocity-giving selflessly and receiving more than expected. The youth deserve dedicated mentors, and I cherish being someone they laugh with and explore new things.

Hey there! My name is Nadiah Layne, but everyone calls me Nadi and I am the current Political Correspondent for BSU’s 56th eboard.I joined BSU as I felt it was my home away from home; it was place where I found community and unconditional love. It was also a place where I could give back to the community, which is what led me to becoming Political Correspondent. In my position, I lead a wonderful initiative called UTURN, which has shaped my college experience tremendously.

Once I became an intern for BSU and getting involved with this organization, I knew I wanted something more and that was being apart of eboard. BSU has always managed to put a smile on my face, bring me up when I’m down, and be able to be surrounded by those who look like me. I love being able to be creative and promote our events and organization to the public to draw attention to the big impact we have.

My name is Ryan Mosley, and I proudly serve as the Black Student Union’s 56th Secretary and Historian. After starting as an intern last year, I soon realized I wanted a bigger role within BSU to contribute to our Black community. At a predominantly white institution, it’s easy to feel isolated, but BSU has helped me find my place and build connections for others as well. What I’ve enjoyed most is the networking opportunities, both social and professional, that have made my experience truly rewar

Hi lovely people, I am Aïcha and very proud to be BSU’s 56th SA Rep! After discovering this amazing org, I’ve been hooked ever since, from participating in the 55th fashion show to the most transformative internship experience. When the chance to join the E-board came up, I couldn’t pass it up—it’s been a great opportunity for growth, hands-on experience, and making meaningful change. I especially love watching the interns build a close-knit bond and connecting with both the interns and people.

I'm Taylor Anacacy and I’m from Harlem, NY. I joined BSU as a senior advisor because after being on the 55th eboard last year, I fell in love. The things BSU does for the community are unbelievable! I couldn’t give up being apart of such an amazing organization, even if I don’t have as much time to dedicate towards it. The thing I enjoy most about my position is being able to drop words of wisdom and give advice when needed. I love being able to just watch and observe the new Eboard grow.
